The Catholic Archdiocese envisages a healthy life for all with the aim of providing relief to those suffering from physical, social, spiritual and psychological illnesses; with the hope of finding support, care, and treatment in a spirit of Christian solidarity.
To pursue and maintain standards in the health sector and also improve on the already existing structures in the Catholic hospitals towards meeting international standards. This aspect of the church's development reflects a deliberate attempt by the church to give succor not only to the soul, but to enlighten parishioners and well-wishers about their health status alike.
This has given birth to various societies like Total Abstinence, Catholic Action Committee on AIDS/Parish Action Committee on Aids, Orphans and Vulnerable Children and the Orphanage in Zawan.
The Archdiocese operates OLA Hospitals, Jos and Zawan; Mandela Clinic Vom, a Rehabilitation Centre, Sabon Gida Kanar, CBCS, Rantya and now a Pax Herbal Clinic, Tudun Wada, Jos.
